大家好，我叫穆文婷，我的英文名叫温蒂，来自上元小学五6班。

我非常喜欢阅读，空余时间我总喜欢读英文绘本故事，因为它可以提高我的英文水平。今天我要展示最喜欢的一本故事《新年快乐》，并和大家分享书中有趣的内容，跟我一起来读绘本吧！

Hello, everybody! I’m Wenting Mu, my English name is Wendy.

I come from Shangyuna Primary School, and I study in Class 6, Grade 5.

I love reading very much. I always read some English picture books at ordinary times to help me study English better. Today, I will show you my favourite English picture book --- Happy New Year, and share some interesting things about the book with you.

It’s snowing outside, Xiaopi said to Diandian, “We can’t go outside when it’s snowing so hard. The New Year is coming up. I have an idea. Let’s clean up the house together, and invite our friends over for the New Year’s party.”

外面正在下雪。小皮对点点说：“我们不能在大雪的时候去外面玩。新年就要来了我有一个主意。让我们一起打扫房子，邀请我们的朋友来参加新年聚会吧”

Diandian jumped uo and down. He said, “Fantastic! That’s a great idea”

点点上蹿下跳的，他说：“太棒了！那真是个好主意！”

Diandian and Xiaopi got to work! Xiaopi brought in an armful of balloons and told Diandian, “Please find the air pump. We're going to pump the balloons, so we can decorate the room!”

点点和小皮去做工作了！小皮带来了一捧气球，小皮告诉点点：“请你找空气泵。我们要给气球充气，这样我们就可以装饰房间了！”

Diandian started to pump a balloon. “ Why is this balloon long? Aren’t balloons supposed to be round?” asked Diandian.

This is a magic balloon. We can twist these balloons and make them into different shapes. Let me show you how to make a sword.” Xiaopi said.

点点开始给气球充气，“为什么这个气球是长的？气球不是应该是圆的吗？”点点问道。

“这是一个神奇的气球，我们可以把这些气球扭曲成不同的形状，让我教你怎么做一把剑。”小皮说。

“Great,” said Diandian. “Little monkey and I can use the balloon swords and have a sword fight at the party.”

“太好了，”点点说，“小猴子和我可以用气球剑在聚会上战斗。”

“I can also show you how to make a swan,” said Xiaopi to Diandian. Diandian was impressed.

Yay…swans! We can use them as head ornaments at the New Year party. Little Monkey and other friends, and I will perform the ballet- The Four Little Swans.”

“我还可以教你怎么做一只天鹅。”小皮对点点说，点点被震撼了。

“耶…天鹅！我们可以在新年晚会上用他们作为头饰。小猴子和其他朋友们，还有我将表演芭蕾——四小天鹅。”

“We not only need to decorate the house, but also prepare many games and performances for the party, right?” Diandian asked Xiaopi.

“Of course. After the snow stops, we will go out and send out the invitations to our friends.”

“我们不仅需要装饰房子，还需要为聚会准备许多游戏和表演，对吧？”点点问小皮。

“当然。雪停后，我们会出去给我们的朋友发邀请。”
